We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a consulting assignment within a highly regulated and technically advanced environment. The assignment is with a customer operating in the pharmaceutical industry and runs until the end of the year, offering approximately five months of engagement. It provides the opportunity to work with process excellence, technical leadership, and operational improvements in a modern manufacturing context.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead activities in process development, validation, and continuous improvement
• Conduct thorough root cause investigations and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and production
• Drive structured problem-solving and contribute to operational robustness

Required Qualifications

• Education: BSc or MSc in Material Science, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  
• Minimum 8 years in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering within a regulated industry, preferably in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sector
• Proven leadership in process development and validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
  
• Experience with formulation or processing of high-viscosity materials
• Knowledge of glass cartridge filling and sealing, including handling viscous substances, rubber plunger insertion, and crimping
• Familiarity with medical device packaging (e.g., PETG trays with Tyvek lids)
• Understanding of moist heat and/or EO sterilization processes
